The objective of the summer postcard series was to stay in touch and create interest with prospective students in a personal and casual way. The postcards featured current students interests and ambitions being enhanced through their experience at Hamline. The students were often far off in another country or state, so the design solution was to photograph the student before they left for their excursion and fill in a background from stock photography. These profiles and photos were also used in other marketing materials and digital media.
